ELEMENTS 2: Wéi Qiang (围墙) in Beijing (北京): Fencings in the Chinese City

Arriving in Beijing from Europe one of the elements that you immediately notice are barriers.
Walking in the city is a continuous and forced encounter with them: low, medium or high, they always mark every boundary, strongly characterizing the urban landscape, and they soon start to condition your life as a pedestrian in Beijing.

It was at OYC Hotel in Zhaoqing, that the Rural and Urban Planning Bureau of the city coordinated a conference to obtain advice and guide lines on the restoration of its historic walls.

CREATIVITY AS A PROCESS - SCTCL Exhibition in Redtory

South China Torino Collaboration Lab have curated the exhibition CREATIVITY AS A PROCESS, held in Redtory, one of the most famous creative districts in the City of Guangzhou, from the 3rd to the 6th of June. The exhibition was the results of the two workshop organized by the SCTCL in collaboration with ISA International School of Guangzhou during May 2016.
