"China Room" Inauguration
17/10/2016; The “China Room” has been inaugurated in Torino. “China Room” is the informal name for the new working spaces dedicated to the South China - Torino Collaboration Lab and CenTo Research on Chinese New Town. “China Room”, situated in the east tower of the Castello del Valentino in Turin, has been decorated by the SCTCL team and provides comfortable spaces designated to host professors, researcher and students, working on different project and activities.
At the inauguration where present many guests, among them Marco Gilli, the rector of the Politecnico di Torino, and Ghery Hack, Professor Emeritus at MIT, who gave a lecture in Torino for the occasion. The inauguration of the Italian Spaces has been also celebrated, by video conference, with Italian Ph.D. Students and Chinese professors in SCUT in Guangzhou.
